Dream Big: Changing How We Discuss Engineering

January 13, 2017

Dream Big, is a new film that shows viewers how engineers push the limits of ingenuity and innovation in unexpected, imaginative, and amazing ways. In this Webcast from DiscoverE, engineers share what made them interested in engineering and how you can get involved in changing how we talk about engineering with K-12 students.

Engineer Roshellia Goines, P.E. shared that this film is critical so that children can see diversity in engineering. "There are many faces of engineering and I think it's really key for kids to see what engineers look like. There are preconceived notions of what an engineer is and what an engineer looks like so I think this film can help a lot!"
