Dream Big - Changing the Conversation on Engineering

November 7, 2016

All around the world, engineers are pushing the limits of ingenuity and innovation in unexpected, imaginative, and amazing ways.

Dream Big, a giant-screen film focused on engineering and STEM, will take viewers on a journey of discovery into the world of engineering. This film highlights innovation and takes viewers from the world’s tallest buildings to behind the scenes to witness how today’s engineers are shaping the world of tomorrow.

The American Society of Civil Engineers in partnership with MacGillivray Freeman Films, and presented by Bechtel Corporation, announced Dream Big: Engineering Wonders of the World, will premiere in giant-screen theaters during Engineers Week, February 2017.

The project seeks to:

  • Inform the public about the important work engineers do, helping to heighten interest and change perceptions about the profession.

  • Inspire young people to consider careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM)

  • Bolster academic achievement, student engagement and parent involvement in engineering and other STEM fields.
