#GivingTuesday - A Global Day of Giving

December 1, 2016

#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. Entering it's fifth year, the event is celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving (in the U.S.) and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

This year the event raised $168 million in charitable donations worldwide, topping last year's tally by 44%. Volunteers also pledged thousands of hours to assist their neighbors and those in need.  Such amazing generosity is bringing about real change in communities around the world and spotlighting the impact individuals can have working with nonprofits, civic organizations, businesses, and corporations.

Of course, charitable organizations need help all year long.
